Our Services

Craft shaped by family, rooted in care, and expressed through every surface we create.

At Focolare Aldera, every surface is approached with care, intention, and respect for the space it belongs to. The work below represents some of the finishes we are most often commissioned for, though many projects are developed in response to the character and needs of each individual environment.

Venetian & Polished Plaster

Venetian and polished plasters offer depth, movement, and a soft reflective quality that changes with light throughout the day. These finishes are often chosen for feature walls, entrances, and spaces where atmosphere and texture are central to the design.

Our approach focuses on restraint and balance, building layers slowly to achieve surfaces that feel refined rather than decorative. Each application is tailored to the architecture and tone of the space, resulting in work that feels considered and enduring.

Lime Plaster & Natural Finishes

Lime-based finishes bring a natural softness to a space, with subtle tonal variation and a breathable, tactile quality. They are particularly suited to calm interiors where texture and materiality play a quiet but important role.

We work with lime and mineral-based materials in a way that respects their character, allowing walls to feel lived-in rather than overly finished. These surfaces often develop a gentle patina over time, becoming more beautiful as they age.

Textured & Bespoke Surface Work

Some spaces call for a more expressive surface — something with depth, movement, or individuality. Textured finishes can range from subtle variation to more sculptural applications, depending on the intention of the project.

Rather than working from fixed templates, these finishes are developed through samples and conversation, allowing the final surface to sit naturally within the wider design of the space.

Feature Walls and Spatial Detailing

Feature walls are often the focal point of a room, but they are most effective when they feel integrated rather than separate. We create surfaces that support the architecture of a space, whether through tonal continuity or quiet contrast.

This kind of work often extends beyond a single wall, incorporating transitions, corners, and adjacent surfaces so that the overall atmosphere feels cohesive and resolved.

Every project begins with the space itself — its light, proportions, purpose, and atmosphere. Many of our commissions evolve beyond defined categories, shaped through dialogue, sampling, and careful consideration of what feels most appropriate for each environment.
